That was quite an honor, but we feel it's well deserved!
Home to about a quarter of Vermont's population, the greater Burlington region truly offers the best of all possible worlds - great jobs, world-class outdoor recreation in every season, the ambiance of a sophisticated university town, and Vermont's unique, unspoiled character. It's easy to get here by air, rail, or car, and with so much to offer it's no surprise at all that we were featured as Outside Magazine's top "Dream Town." Burlington tourism continues to be robust in all seasons – we're a hotspot in the summer and a great base camp for a Vermont ski vacation - and we're sure you'll be pleased.
