The Lake Champlain Workforce Investment Board (WIB) is a force for making a difference in our region's economic future. An ongoing challenge in our community as well as others across the country is the disconnect between the workforce we must have- to ensure good employment opportunities and an economy that is sound, diverse, and competitive- and the workforce we have in place. The WIB is a volunteer regional organization which links the business and education community to bridge the gap between the workforce of today and the one we need tomorrow. The WIB provides leadership and support for a workforce development system that involves collaboration of three partners: employers, educators and employees.
