Work at the
Chamber
Cathy works as a legislative advocate and registered lobbyist. During
the legislative session, she represents the interests of the Chamber and GBIC
members at the Statehouse in Montpelier, tracking the progress of multiple
issues, testifying on bills, discussing issues with legislators, and coordinating
member outreach to legislators. Cathy also helps plan and direct several Chamber
and GBIC events that give members an opportunity to interact with their legislators.
Education &
Prior Experience
Cathy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from
the University of Vermont. Prior to joining the Chamber, she served as International
Issues Liaison for US Senator James M. Jeffords (I-VT). Cathy is Vice-Chair
of the Jericho Development Review Board and serves as Treasurer of the board
of directors for the Vermont Association for Psychological Type.
