Lisa's role as Workforce Investment Board (WIB) Coordinator for Chittenden
County includes staffing the WIB, the Adult Education Council and the Workforce
Development Accelerated Response Team (WDART). Lisa also provides employer
outreach and education, as well as technical assistance to Workforce Education
& Training (WETF) grant applicants. Lisa works in collaboration with many
community organizations and state agencies, particularly the Vermont Department
of Labor.
The WIB’s mission is to provide leadership and support for a workforce
development system that involves the collaboration of three partners: employers,
educators, and employees.
Education &
Prior Experience
Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Services
from the University of Vermont. She is a graduate of the 2004 Leadership Champlain
class; a founder, Board member, and Sponsorship Committee member of the Vermont
City Marathon; a member of the Youth Advisory Committee; and a parent volunteer
at Orchard School in South Burlington.
