The 6th Annual Great Ice in Grand Isle, an outdoor family-friendly festival on City Bay in North Hero, features two weekends of events on the ice! Friday, February 8th kicks things off with a bonfire, chili contest and cash bar on the North Hero House pier. Saturday and Sunday Marathon Skating International takes over the ice for two days of timed skating races, and anyone can enter. Other events are a Kids Fishing Derby, the F-f-frozen Regatta, Flapjack Breakfast and Trek to Knight Island, Nordic Skating, sled dog rides, pickup hockey and the Sweetheart Boogie on Saturday the 16th.
