Lake Champlain Weekend Roundup: July 21-23

This weekend marks 48 years since Neil Armstrong took those famous first steps on the moon and uttered those iconic words (tickle your nostalgia bone and hear the audio here), winning the Race to the Moon for the United States. While that sounds like a pretty solid weekend for Buzz and Neil, we think this Lake Champlain weekend can totally top it. Just follow our lead, and you’ll be making small steps and giant leaps of your own:

FRIDAY

Vermont Brewers Festival

  • Waterfront Park, Burlington
  • Friday, July 21: 12:00-4:00 PM
  • $40
  • 21 & Over
The Vermont Brewers Festival is an annual craft beer tasting festival held at the Burlington Waterfront celebrating craft beer and the brewers who brew them.

It’s finally here! Burlington’s main event for all things craft beer, the Vermont Brewers Festival celebrates its 25th year at Waterfront Park this Friday. Vermont is a truly special place for craft beer, and it’s worth experiencing – even if beer isn’t your sip of choice. But for those of you who are bona fide local brew connoisseurs, this might actually be heaven on earth. Unique beer from 39 Vermont brewers, plus a few from special guest brewers in Maine, Massachusetts, and New York make this a New England celebration like no other – and a guest appearance by some Canadian brewers will add some international flavor to your pint glass. Drink delicious beer, move to some great local music, munch on some of the area’s best cuisine, and do it all with panoramic views of the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain. Read our blog about it here, or better yet, just buy your tickets already!
