Do you know someone who’s doing great things for our community? Nominate them now for the Chamber’s Annual Awards program!

Community Excellence:
This award recognizes one of the many people in our community who makes things happen and who community groups go to when something needs to be done. This individual’s efforts and actions have helped make a difference to our area and our mission as a Chamber to improve quality of life, the environment, human services, education, tourism, economic development, or the business climate in the area. The winners of this award are heroes of our community and who volunteer their time not to further their careers but to better their communities.

Rising Star:
The Chamber Rising Star Award recognizes the person who is clearly on the path to being one of our community’s foremost leaders. The recipient of this award will be the individual who is relatively new to the business community but who has already committed themselves to the community and who has demonstrated leadership in their business and in the community at large. Nominees must have shown leadership both in their professional life and through volunteerism in the community outside their professional life.

Business of the Year:
This award will be broken up into size categories based on the applicants submitted. Businesses are encouraged to nominate themselves for this award category. This award recognizes the for profit business member of the Chamber who represents the hard work, commitment, risk, and challenges it takes to make businesses succeed. The award winner will have demonstrated a commitment to their employees as well as their community and demonstrated solid growth over the past year in either sales or employees.
