The Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Vermont Convention Bureau, and the Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation (GBIC) announced Friday that they will host the Thirteenth Annual Taste of Vermont Reception in Washington, D.C., with honored guest Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Summer Employment Opportunities for Youth

The Vermont Department of Labor (VDOL) has announced the availability of funds to award grants to organizations to deliver Summer Employment Opportunities (SEO) that link academic learning, occupational skill development with a career pathway. Approximately $175,000 is available for the 2018 summer program. The deadline for grant applications is: Friday, April 13, 2018 by 4:00 pm.
