Work at the
Chamber
Michelle is responsible for the integrity of the Chamber's financial presentation. She calculates, keys, and analyzes all profit/loss divisions within the Chamber
and at current count there are 34. In addition to handling all functions of accounting, Michelle acts as the Chamber's Human Resources Manager.
Her work also includes staff payroll, invoicing of annual membership dues investments, collection of dues, third and final reports to the Executive Committee,
and cost analysis and cost savings. In brief, all accounting functions flow through Michelle.
Aside from daily, monthly, and yearly accounting, Michelle is a co-organizer of the Annual Ambassadors' Silent Auction held in March. This event is the Chamber's largest fundraiser.
Michelle began her position with the Chamber in 2002.
Education & Prior Experience
Michelle is a graduate of Burlington Schools and Trinity College of Vermont. Before working at the Chamber, Michelle worked at Walsh Electric in Colchester for 6 years as their Office and Accounting Manager.
In addition to her work at the Chamber, Michelle also teaches tap and jazz dance several nights a week in St. Albans, is an Arbonne Consultant and co-owner of Timandshelltravelsmart.com an online travel agency.
