Chris Diaz of Red Point Marketing PR will be presenting at this years Vermont Convention Bureau Annual Meeting. You won't want to miss it! Here's a brief synopsis of the keynote presentation: Post Irene: A Wish List of Marketing Do-Overs A hurricane hits Vermont on the eve of foliage season and suddenly...it's every marketing-man for himself. Even hotels that walked away without a physical scratch suffered losses as groups panicked, transient business chose other states, and transportation challenges created hassles for arriving guests. And when the race is on to protect instantly-dwindled revenue potential, emotion influences our marketing choices, and not always in ways that make us proud in hindsight. What can we learn from studying the good, bad, and ugly marketing strategies that emerged in Irene's wake? This session will better equip you to gracefully protect your current and future revenue, downplay drama without frivolity, and spot unexpected positive opportunities within the tangle of negativity.

BY AUTOMOBILE From I-89 North or South, take Exit 14 West toward Burlington. Route 2 becomes Main Street in downtown Burlington. Continue to the end of Main Street and turn right onto Lake Street. Take your first left onto College Street. ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain is located at the bottom of College Street on the Waterfront.
