Event Description:
Community art project featuring hand-crafted benches painted by local artists. Presented by the Lake Champlain Islands Chamber of Commerce. Benches will be on display in venues throughout the Champlain Islands from mid-June until mid-August. Maps showing the location of the benches can be found at local stores; or downloaded from www.champlainislands.com. On Friday Aug. 17 all the benches will be gathered at the North Hero Community Hall for a live auction and cocktail event. Auctioneer Jamie Polli of GameshowsVT.com. Tickets to the event are free.
