CHCB Community Hike

Event Description:
The Community Health Centers of Burlington (CHCB) is hosting a Community Hike on Sunday, August 26th at Underhill State Park at 1 pm. Everyone is welcome to come to support Beth, a local ICU nurse who is running the entire 272 miles Long Trail to raise awareness for preventive health care for all residents and CHCB’s mission of care, by walking a five-mile loop around Mount Mansfield. A $20 registration/donation for the Community Hike can be made on Beth’s website www.crowdrise.com/longtrailrun. All proceeds will benefit CHCB where preventative health care is the goal and, daily, is a work-in-progress. For over 40 years, CHCB has worked to serve the Vermont community in providing access to affordable medical, dental and behavioral health care, regardless of ability to pay or life circumstance.
