Monday December 5th

VCWA Annual Meeting: Pomerleau Alumni Center, Saint Michael's College: Meeting at 4:30pm. Panel (open to the public) at 5:30pm.

"Refugee Crisis: A Panel Discussion on Response and Solutions," featuring former US Ambassador to Syria Robert Ford, Mayor of Rutland Christopher Louras, and Superintendent of the Winooski School District Sean McMannon.

The panelists will discuss the current refugee crisis in Syria, refugee resettlement efforts in Vermont, and highlight the importance of continuing the Vermont tradition of building inclusive and welcoming communities throughout the state.
