From Montreal
Route 10 East across the Champlain Bridge. Follow route 10 East to Route 35 South. (Heading towards Iberville). In St. Jean Route 35 turns into Route 133. Proceed on Route 133 South to the US/Canadian border in Phillipsburg Quebec. Once across the border, you are on 89 South. Follow 89 South to Burlington. Burlington is accessed via exit 14 E or 14 W dependent upon your destination once in the city (14 W leads you into the downtown area).

From Toronto
Take 401 East from Toronto. Follow to Cornwall, Ontario where you will enter the United Sates. Once you cross the border, take Route 37 East to Malone, NY. From Malone, go east on Route 11 to Route 2 (54.2 miles). Proceed east on Route 2 to the Vermont border (0.8 miles). Proceed on Route 2 to Route 78 in Vermont (5.1 miles). Follow Route 78 to Interstate 89 (10.7 miles). Follow I-89 South to Burlington. Burlington is accessed via exit 14 E or 14 W dependent upon your destination once in the city (14 W leads you into the downtown area).

In addition to the directions outlined above. Three ferries (some seasonal) service the region.

Plattsburgh, NY to Grand Isle, VT: Open year-round
Port Kent, NY to Burlington, VT: Runs late spring to early fall
Essex, NY to Charlotte, VT: Runs late spring to late fall
