The LaunchVT final pitch competition is coming up fast on May 17th from 5 to 8pm at Main Street Landing in Burlington. LaunchVT is a program of the Lake Champlain Chamber that provides early stage acceleration programs and resources for businesses to prep, launch and soar in Vermont.
Each year, LaunchVT selects eight startups to participate in its early-stage acceleration program, which culminates in the final Pitch Competition, Vermont’s version of the TV show “Shark Tank.†Competitors in 2018 include the makers of a virtual-reality surgery simulator, oceanic researchers who’ve designed a microfiber-catching, pollution-reducing laundry ball and an herbalist who brews sparkling herbal tea.
