The Lake Champlain region’s outstanding businesses, organizations and individuals will be honored at the Lake Champlain Chamber’s 109th Annual Dinner on Thursday, October 24th. Businesses must be a Chamber member in good standing to be eligible for awards. Current members are listed in our Member Directory. Individuals do not need to be affiliated with a Chamber member.
Nominations will be accepted until September 9.
The following awards are accepting nominations:
LCRCC Business of the Year
The LCRCC Business of the Year award honors a business that has demonstrated growth in its employment, production, and operations and has a substantial history of success. It has a positive social and economic impact on the Lake Champlain region. The recipient must have shown outstanding growth, significant achievements in innovation, and superior community involvement through the commitment of time and resources. Businesses are encouraged to self-nominate.

A. Wayne Roberts Business Award
The A. Wayne Roberts Business Award honors a new business that opened its doors in the last three years that demonstrates growth, job creation and ingenuity. Preference is given to businesses that have been accelerated by LaunchVT. Businesses are encouraged to self-nominate.

Emerging Leader Award
The Emerging Leader Award recognizes individuals who strive toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment, demonstrate a strong commitment to our community, and serve as role models for others in the business community. They must live and/or work in the Lake Champlain region. This award is given to employees/owners of LCRCC member businesses and preference is given to graduates of Leadership Champlain. LCRCC has been developing community leaders through Leadership Champlain for over thirty years. Individuals are encouraged to self-nominate.

Workforce Innovation Award
The Workforce Innovation Award is presented to a business that has implemented unique workforce development solutions. Achievements in diversity and inclusion, employee retention and training, collaboration with other institutions and businesses, and other innovative practices are considered. Businesses are encouraged to submit self-nominations.

Community Impact Award
The Community Impact Award is presented to a business, organization, or individual that has contributed time, skills and resources to enhance the quality of life of the Lake Champlain region. Businesses, organizations and individuals are encouraged to self-nominate.
