Chamber hires new Vice President of Tourism and Marketing

Catherine Davis, Executive Vice President of the Lake Champlain Chamber, announced a recent addition to the Chamber’s staff:

Jeff Lawson headshotJeff Lawson joined the Chamber in January as Vice President of Tourism & Marketing. Lawson will lead the Chamber’s work to market Burlington as a premier tourism destination through a new regional marketing organization as well as heading the Vermont Convention Bureau, which brings meetings and events to Vermont. Prior to joining the Chamber, Jeff was the principal and owner of Apiary Media, a visual media firm. He is a lifelong resident of the Champlain Valley and currently splits his time between Shelburne and Montreal, QC.

Davis commented that “Lawson joins the Chamber at a time when we are growing our work to market Burlington as a destination significantly thanks to a new partnership with regional hospitality businesses. His experience and enthusiasm for the role is going to mean great things for both our region and our state.”

Lawson commented that he, “is excited to work with regional and statewide partners to introduce more visitors and clients to both Burlington and Vermont.”
