February 19th, 2020: Eviction Nuts & Bolts:
Learn eviction basics from Termination notice to court process. This seminar will focus on an eviction for nonpayment of rent as that is the most common type of eviction in Vermont. Attendees will learn the absolute must haves in a termination notice, along with the general court process once an action is brought to enforce the termination notice.
April 15th, 2020: COVID-19 Impacts and Resources for Landlords with Q & A
Join us for the sharing of up-to-the-minute information and resources for landlords during this unprecedented time. There will also be a Q&A session. This topic is replacing the previously scheduled Composting Basics presentation.
May 20th, 2020: Fair Housing and Emotional Support Animals
Learn some Fair Housing basics, with specific focus on Emotional Support Animals. What is considered valid documentation, and what are the landlord’s responsibilities under the law. You might be surprised at your obligations. This seminar will be filled with do’s and don’ts to help keep you from having a complaint filed against you with the Human Rights Commission. This event was rescheduled from March 18th to May 20th, 2020.
