LaunchVT has selected the eight Vermont startups that will be participating in its 2019 Accelerator Cohort. This is the seventh cohort of startups to come through LaunchVT’s acceleration program. Over the past six years LaunchVT has provided business development support, strategic coaching, and over $550,000 in cash and services to accelerate 43 Vermont startups.

Burlington Code Academy displays their check for $15,000 for winning the LaunchVT pitch competition

Over the next eight weeks, entrepreneurs in the LaunchVT cohort will work with a dedicated coach, strategic advisors, and each other to refine their business models, work through their most pressing challenges, and hone their pitches. They will participate in peer to peer support modules, office hours with over 75 local business advisors, and workshops with content experts. Near the end of the program the cohort will pitch their businesses at Demo Night for the opportunity to receive over $150,000 in cash and services. Demo Night takes place on May 31st from 5-8pm at the Film House at Main Street Landing. The event is FREE and the public is invited to attend! Register here.

“The beginning of a cohort is always a really exciting time, because we know how amazing all these entrepreneurs are, and we can’t wait for them to meet each other and begin working together. The cohort model is such a powerful approach because it brings entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds together, and their collective talent and knowledge makes really incredible things happen,” said John Antonucci, Executive Director of LaunchVT.
