This time of year, and even more so during the COVID era, health insurance is on employers’ minds. Whether you are evaluating your current plans or looking to provide health insurance for the first time, there is plenty to think about. Erin Bombard, the Lake Champlain Chamber’s Director of Business and Talent Development, recently sat down with Erik Kolomaznik of CK Financial for a quick Q&A on health insurance. Erik filled her in on what employers should be thinking about, how they can manage the number of options available and how they can financially support this employee benefit.
About Erik Kolomaznik:
Erik Kolomaznik is a partner at CK Financial Resources, and his office is in Shelburne Vermont. Erik grew up in the Chittenden county area after which he spent some time traveling abroad. Naturally, he returned to Vermont when it was time to raise his family. CK Financial Resources is a private practice financial firm, and Erik has been with them for 5 years. His specialties include personal finance, retirement plans, retirement distribution, employee benefits programming, executive benefits, and several areas of insurance. He has been working with the LCRCC to provide medical insurance solutions since the VACE lost the ability to offer commercial medical insurance directly to members. Erik is committed to the success of the small business ecosystem in Vermont and is excited to be working with the chamber to help fellow business owners solve this challenging problem.
