Life as we know it has been turned on its head these past few weeks. Our usual routines — eating out at our favorite restaurants, shopping at our go-to retailers, enjoying a delicious Vermont craft beverage in good company — have halted as we try to understand this virus and prevent its spread. While we adapt to these changes and lean into our digital world, the Lake Champlain Chamber wants to make sure that our community continues to support these businesses through these trying times.
Here’s a list of small businesses you can support right from your couch:
American Flatbread – Regular fully baked flatbreads + salads, partially baked flatbreads. Use code: Chamber
August First – The café is offering online ordering from a limited menu of sandwiches, drinks and “fun packs”. Each “fun pack” includes an August First tote bag full of goodies including pastries, bread, cooler drinks, coloring pages and more. Fun Packs are deliverable within the Burlington School District. Online orders are accepted until 10pm for next day delivery. Gift cards are available to purchase on their website. Bread is still available for purchase at both City Market locations and Healthy Living. Follow August First on Facebook and Instagram for information on the fun packs as well as creative ways they are delivering food to support the community.
Bistro de Margot – Pre-order classic French “re-heat & eat” meals 24 hours in advance for pick-up or delivery. The restaurant can also deliver wine from its extensive list, which it’s offering at a 20% discount.
Blue Paddle Bistro – Free delivery Wednesday through Sunday nights in the Clay Point Road vicinity, South Hero and Grand Isle. Order takeout or delivery and be entered to win a $500 shopping spree to Johnson Woolen Mills.
Buffalo Wild Wings – The Buffalo Wild Wings kitchen remains open for takeout and delivery. Order those wings through the website or app.
Dave’s Cosmic Subs – This “far-out” sub shop continues grooving with hot and cold sandwiches for carryout and delivery. When offered, “Dave’s six-pack special” includes a sammie, a four-pack of brewskis and a roll of toilet paper.
Dobra Tea – Shop from their online store; call (802) 355-1841 to have tea packed and organize a pick-up.
Domino’s – The national franchise pizzeria offers its cheesy creations for takeout, delivery and curbside pickup. 2 large, 2-topping pizzas + 2 litre beverage for $19.99 (no code requ’d).
El Cortijo – Order online for curbside pickup
El Gato Cantina – The Mexican eatery serves up its menu of tacos, tamales, chimichangas and more via takeout, curbside pickup and delivery (UberEats, Grub Hub and DoorDash). Every order comes with free chips and salsa. Get a margarita to go! Call to place your order.
Kestrel Coffee Roasters – Though both cafes are closed, Kestrel is still roasting coffee! Gift cards can be purchased for future use at the cafes on their website. Kountry Kart Deli – The Queen City institution has reduced it hours but is still serving up its famous sandwiches, wraps, gyros and more for takeout. Order online or by phone.
Leonardo’s Pizza – The award-winning pizza shop is open for takeout and contact-free delivery. Try the new Hot Honey Bliss pie on white, organic wheat or gluten-free crust.
Little Morocco Cafe -Traditional Moroccan food available for takeout. Free hot Moroccan soup and rice three times a week from 3-5p.m. on Tue., Thu., and Sa to support those in need. Donate to help support Little Morocco Cafe’s work to feed those less fortunate here.
Moe’s – Receive a 15% discount by contacting the South Burlington location at 802-660-4900, and mention the Chamber of Commerce. If you place an order through April 10th for $10 or more through the Moes app, receive free delivery. If you would like to place a catering order Moe’s will take all necessary precautions when preparing and delivering. Contactless delivery is also an option. Williston location is closed.
New Moon – New Moon is focusing on helping the community. They are collecting donations for their Suspended Meals Program which provides food to local shelters and those in need. You can also purchase a gift card to use when they reopen.
North Hero House – The waterfront inn and restaurant is now offering takeout Thursday-Saturday 4pm-7pm. Order wine with your meal and save–20% off the wine list!
Palmer Lane Maple – Mad about maple? Vermont sugarmakers serve up the sweet stuff in maple cream doughnuts and maple creemees. Donations accepted for a community food drive. Curbside pickup available.
The Scale – Order build-your-own poke bowls online or by phone — then pick up curbside or take advantage of free delivery within 3.5 miles on orders of $30 or more. No cash.
The Skinny Pancake – All guest-facing locations are closed. Focus is entirely on their new charitable program, ShiftMeals, an effort to feed those affected by COVID-19. Any restaurant worker, musician, gig worker or anyone in need is eligible for a free meal(s). To request a FREE meal, fill out this form.
Windjammer Restaurant – The Windjammer will be starting Curbside Pick-up on Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18th. They will continue regular Curbside Pick-up on Wednesday – Saturdays each week starting on Wednesday, April 22nd. Menu items and other options will be added following the 17th & 18th Inaugural Take out Event. Gift cards are also available on their website.
April Cornell – Retail location closed. Virtual appointments only. You can video chat with retail associates for a personalized shopping experience with free shipping of items.
Burlington Bay – This lakeside landmark offers gourmet salads, fresh seafoods, homemade soups and sandwiches for takeout.

Kiss the Cook – Shop from their online store. They’re delivering in Chittenden County on Mon/Wed/Fri and if they ship something you’ll see it in 1-2 days anywhere in New England. If for any reason a delivery doesn’t work for you, give them a call and they will work something out.
Lake Champlain Chocolates – Those in need of something sweet can call ahead for to-go orders of hot cocoa, pints of ice cream, truffles, Easter chocolates and more. Or order online for next-day delivery.
Pet Food Warehouse – Pet Food Warehouse is now offering Delivery Service! With a $10 delivery fee, customers in select surrounding towns can have their pet supplies delivered to their doorstep. Or skip the fee, and drive to one of the stores for a contact-free pick up via Curbside Service! Deliveries will be made Monday thru Friday. Fiddlehead Brewing Company – The brewery is open for beer to go, and has begun selling Fiddlehead IPA in 19.2 oz cans — $1 from every can goes to support brewery staff. beginning 3/28: online ordering + curbside pickup Wed-Fri 4-7pm; Sa-Sun 12-3pm.
Foam Brewers – Burlington’s waterfront brewery is selling its rotating selection of pilsners, pale ales, fruited sours and IPAs to-go. Brand new sister restaurant, Deep City, is open next door for takeout.
Higher Ground – Gift cards are available on their website. Producing an online series of concerts on Higher Ground Facebook and Instagram feeds called “Waiting is the Hardest Part: Sessions Beyond the Club”. Concerts are free to watch.
Shelburne Vineyard – Ethan Joseph’s award-winning ferments are available for shipping or pickup through the vineyard’s online store.
Snow Farm Vineyard – Tasting room temporarily closed, but online orders and gift cards can still be purchased. For a limited time, you can receive 10% off on a 1/2 case and a $10 gift card, or 20% off a full case and a $20 gift card.
