IVLP: Engaging Government Entities to Support Victims of Human Trafficking (Albania)

Albania’s shelters for victims of trafficking are very good at their core mission – caring for victims and helping them re-enter society. Nevertheless, they face challenges when trying to persuade the government to support their efforts. Key ministries are under pressure to respond to a variety of needs in addition to anti-trafficking and are often hard pressed to communicate with each other on anti-trafficking priorities.
