The Vermont Council on World Affairs helps bring the world to Vermont and Vermont to the world.
The Vermont Council on World Affairs organizes professional exchanges with a wide range of focuses. Through programs like the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative, Open World, the Pan-African Youth Leadership Program, and the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program, we connect participants to relevant businesses, NGOs, and experts to bolster their expertise and broaden their network.
Since 2001, the Vermont Council on World Affairs has a proud tradition of welcoming distinguished diplomats, who come to Vermont to exchange views on issues of international importance. They speak at large public venues as well as at smaller, more intimate meetings with time for personal interaction and discussion.
Each year, the Vermont Council on World Affairs hosts dozens of events featuring experts on important global issues. Join us for poignant discussions about international trade, geopolitical issues, and other cultures.
