Winter Events

Nothing warms the spirit like a winter event. Artists’ markets run throughout December and the holiday season is capped off by Highlight, Burlington’s New Year’s celebration, is a night of fun for the entire family. There’s music and celebration across the city and it all culminates with a special waterfront  fireworks show to ring in the new year. The Lake Champlain Pond Hockey Classic in Colchester’s Malletts Bay brings hundreds of teams from around the region for a weekend of fun on the ice. And Hotel Vermont’s Ice Bar is a winter institution not to be missed.  With food, drinks, djs and more, the event brings people together from far and wide to celebrate the season in style.
